Hello!  My name is Patricia and friends call me Patty. My first name is Karla but I never use it only to present work.

I see myself as a hopeless romantic who brings passion to every project I work on. From conceptualizing ideas to bringing them to life, I approach my work with heart and energy.

Collaboration is where I thrive. I believe the best creative work happens when we come together, sharing perspectives, challenging each other, and learning along the way. It's not just more fun; it's how we grow.

Music is my soundtrack, food is my fuel, and family is my why. They're the reason I love what I do and the motivation that keeps me moving forward.

As an Art Supervisor, I've worked with incredible creatives in pharma and consumer industries, and each experience has taught me something new. Even when my schedule allows, I enjoy helping small businesses and new brands build their identity and connect with their audience. Travel has been another teacher, expanding my creative vision by exposing me to how design and culture intersect around the world.

I'm a proud graduate of Miami Ad School, an international institution that celebrates diversity and proves that the best ideas come from blending different cultures. Right now, I'm completing a post-diploma in AI at Miami Ad School to sharpen how I present and refine my work for clients in this evolving landscape.

EXPERIENCE

ACD FREELANCER  / IPG & WPP

2022 - Present

Pharmaceutical Brand Leadership (DTC & HCP): Serve as Art Supervisor  & ACD across multiple pharmaceutical brands, developing creative for both patient and healthcare professional audiences. Drive concepting through execution across print, digital, IVA, and social channels while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet critical launch and pitch deadlines.

Manage the full regulatory approval cycle via VEEVA, coordinating updates and ensuring compliance throughout production. Integrated Figma into team workflows to improve collaboration and speed, particularly essential during time-sensitive launches where precision and teamwork are essential.

GROUP ART SUPERVISOR / FCB-YUZUYELLO

2021 - 2022

Project 1: Developed concepts across various brands, creating deliverables and supervising teams from ideation through execution. Presented to clients and managed deadlines to keep projects on track.

Project 2: Led creative development for a new brand launch, concepting and building comps to win client approval. Working alongside my copywriter partner, our idea tested best and was selected by the client for launch in April 2023.

2020 - 2021

COVID-19 Campaign (BD Veritor): Developed creative concepts for a new COVID-19 brand, producing a video campaign deployed across the website, social media, and YouTube. Successfully delivered four client-approved brochures for print and advanced a new concept for the next print series.

Oct. 2013 - Jan 2017

Multi-Brand Leadership: Worked across a diverse portfolio of pharmaceutical brands, eventually owning two as lead Art Supervisor. Drove creative concepting and execution for pitches, print, social, and TV campaigns.

Brands: Gilenya, Myrbetriq, Eloctate, Vesicare, and NY Times Ad.

ART DIRECTOR / THE MARKETING ARM

Sept  2012 - Nov 2013

Art Supervisor for Dannon Yogurt: directing point-of-sale creative across East Coast retail locations, including cooler branding, vendor displays, and in-store print materials for grocery chains. Additionally collaborated on concept development for Dannon's Super Bowl commercial.

P&G & Durex - Below-the-Line Marketing: 

Worked as a Designer and Junior Art Director on below-the-line campaigns for various P&G brands and Durex, with national distribution across retail locations. Developed concepts, branding, point-of-sale materials, and marketing processes, with a strong focus on flawless execution to meet client standards for in-store and experiential activations.
